Jerk-style cooking is a form of barbecue from Jamaica. Before cooking, the meat is dry-rubbed or marinated in a blend of allspice, hot peppers and other spices.

Cooking steps

Chop the Scallion!

Click the knife to chop up the Scallion.

Juice the Lime!

Trace the lines to juice the Lime.

Grate the Ginger!

Drag the Ginger left and right against the grater. Click the grater to clean it when too much food builds up.

Dice the Jalapeño Pepper!

Trace the lines to dice up the Jalapeño Pepper.

Slice the Chicken!

Trace the lines to slice up the Chicken.

Add the Ingredients!

Drag the ingredients into the large bowl. Match the pictures as they're revealed.

Season the Jerk Chicken!

Memorize the order and repeat it to season the Jerk Chicken.

Knead the Chicken!

Trace the line to knead the Chicken.

Grill the Jerk Chicken!

Place the Jerk Chicken on the grill, and turn when instructed. Remove the Jerk Chicken when it's done cooking. Don't leave it on too long or it will burn!
