Fried clam strips are served in the seaside restaurants around the U. S. Batter-dipped and deep-fried, clam strips started out in New England in the 1800s, where they are still a prominent part of cultural cuisine.

Cooking steps

Slice the Clam!

Trace the lines to slice up the Clam.

Sift the Flour!

Shake the sieve back and forth to sift the Flour. Don't go too far or you'll miss the bowl.

Bread the Clam!

First dip the Clam in egg, then roll it around the coating.

Fry the Clam!

Drag the food into the pan. Turn the food twice. When it is golden brown, grab it and place it on the lower tray. Don't remove it too quickly!

Peel the Potato!

Drag the peeler from the top to the bottom to peel the Potato.

Slice the Potato!

Trace the lines to slice up the Potato.

Deep Fry Fries!

Grab the food and drop it into the pot. Wait for it to turn golden brown, then drag it to the lower tray. Don't remove the food too quickly!

Season the Fries!

Memorize the order and repeat it to season the Fries.
