Specialty restaurants serve fried chicken with waffles, a breakfast food, to great sweet-and-salty effect. Traditional recipes call for deep-fried chicken, but we'll make it pan-fried chicken for a lighter taste.

Cooking steps

Crack an Egg!

Gently crack the egg on the side of the bowl, then quickly position the egg above the bowl. Don't crack too hard or you'll make a mess!

Sift the Flour!

Shake the sieve back and forth to sift the Flour. Don't go too far or you'll miss the bowl.

Add the Ingredients!

Drag the ingredients into the large bowl. Remember the order!

Whisk the Batter!

Drag the whisk in a circle to whisk the Batter. Keep it moving at the right speed.

Make the Waffle!

Scoop batter onto the waffle iron, then close the lid. Open it when you hear a beep and see steam. Wait too long and the Waffle will burn!

Spread the Butter!

Drag the butter and spread it across the entire pan.

Flip the Chicken!

Trace the pan handle up to flip the Chicken into the air. Watch for the shadow! Then drag the pan sideways to catch the falling Chicken.

Catch the Chicken and Waffles!

Move the mouse to catch the Chicken and Waffles. Don't catch the wrong things.
